THE BIGGER PICTURE
He made his Bournemouth debut off the bench in a Carabao Cup clash with Stoke in late September, but was not seen again until the middle of March. Adams managed one 90-minute outing against Everton, but has been stuck on the sidelines since then with a back complaint.

WHAT IRAOLA SAID
Andoni Iraola has told the when offering an update on Adams: “We have only two games, but I hope he is ready to play against Brentford. After a very long injury, everything was going really well with the hamstring. He played 90 minutes and now he has back problems. I think he is recovering well. Also we don’t want to take any unnecessary risk with him, so we are giving him the time he needs. Now with the points we have, it is not reasonable to risk anyone.”

WHAT NEXT FOR ADAMS?
Bournemouth’s remaining games this season are against Brentford and Chelsea. It has also been revealed that they will be facing Wrexham in a friendly over the summer – with Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney taking the Red Dragons to the United States – meaning that Adams could figure in games on home soil.
