Oscar is poised to complete a move to Sao Paulo, after 14 years away from Brazil. The attacking midfielder left in 2010 to join Internacional after a contract dispute but is now set to return, after an eight-year stint in China with Shanghai SIPG.

Oscar made 245 appearances for Shanghai and bade the club a tearful farewell at the end of his spell. He was also, of course, a member of Chelsea's squad between 2012 and 2017 before his shock move to the Far East.

Oscar won the Chinese Super League three times with Shanghai and also won 48 caps for Brazil, although he was not selected for his country after his move to China.

Oscar is likely to receive a hero's welcome when he arrives in Brazil. He is 33, so has plenty of time to make his mark at Sao Paulo in his second spell.
